Being Young

Procedure :

·         Write on the board.

·         “Being young is ……….”

·         Ask the students to call out what they think could be added to this sentence.

·         If there is a time, ask the students to work with a neighbor.

·         Collect their sentences in order.

·         It might be like this :

o   “Being young is wonderful.”

o   “Being young is amazing.”

o   “Being young is fun.”, etc

·         The following sentences that be used as sentence starters :

o   Being old is …..

o   Being smart is …..

o   Love is …..

o   English is …..

o   Without you is …..

Variation :

Dictate the beginning of a sentence. Each student writes it down and then finishes it as he/she wishes.
